Who Run The World?

Today is International Women’s Day, a day that stands for women’s rights. It feels like this years is more important and relevant then ever. With everything happening in the United States, the #timesup and #metoo campaigns I feel as though this day means so much more this year.

Before I go any further I just want to say sorry. To any women who I called pretty or beautiful, before I complimented the thing that matters. Before I told you that you are smart, intelligent, brave, strong. Before I told you how extraordinary you are. I am sorry I automatically put your worth to how you looked.

I’m gonna say it. Women are bad a**! And when women support each other, incredible things happen.

We fight for the future, not the past.

We fight for our children, for our own futures. In the last few years I have never been more proud to say yes, I am a Millennial. Cause what we are doing is going to make history books, we’ll make sure of it. We hold world wide rally’s. No matter what city, or country or time zone. We make it happen, we have voices and they are going to be heard.

I know this may seem a little all over the place, but I am just so proud to be female and be apart of a time that has so many advances, with so many strong women. I am female, and I am proud.

“Women don’t need to find a voice, they have a voice. They need to feel empowered to use it, and people need to be encouraged to listen.”
